Erin Michelson, Founder & CEO

Erin Michelson is leading growth strategist working within both the corporate and social arenas for organizations like Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and American Express, as well as Kellogg, Ashoka, and Tides foundations. Author of the Adventure Philanthropist book series, Erin has a BA from Mills College, a M.Phil from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a MA from The New School for Social Research.

Dr. Helga Wild, Behavioral Science

Leading our Behavioral Science team, Helga’s work combines qualitative research and systemic design focusing on how individuals and groups interact with one another. She did her undergraduate work in Systems Theory at Linz University and received her PhD in Psychology and Neuroscience from Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. Awarded the prestigious Schroedinger Fellowship, Helga was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University, conducted experimental research at the Neuropsychology Lab at Stanford, and worked at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (P.A.R.C.).

Dr. Robert Lewis, Communication & Cognitive Science

With a focus on using data to tell stories and moral psychology, Robert will be lending his expertise to support Summery’s data integrity, data visualization, and UI/UX. An Assistant Professor at University of Texas at Austin, Robert earned his BA in Journalism / Computer Science from Southeast Missouri State University, a MA in Communication from University of Missouri-Saint Louis, and his PhD from Michigan State University in Communication with a certificate in Cognitive Science.

Dr. Steve Ketchpel, DATA SCIENce

Steve Ketchpel heads our data analytics team, specializing in web customer experience behavior analysis. His first start-up was co-founding Vividence, a provider of customer experience management tools and services. Author of the book Giving Back, he has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. from Stanford University and an A.B. in computer science from Harvard University.

Dara PerL, Information Science

Dara Perl is a member of our data analytics team, spearheading our data visualization and marketing research. With a project management and operations background, she now focuses on enhancing workplace performance and data efficiency. Dara has a M.S. in Applied Urban Science & Informatics from New York University and a B.S. in Civil Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.

Ruston Vickers, TECHNOLOGY

Ruston Vickers advises our engineering effort, focusing on building out our SaaS product suite. He created the software LISA and co-founded ITKO, which was acquired by CA Technologies. Most recently, Ruston was the Chief DevOps Architect & SVP of Product Management and Strategy of Application Delivery at CA Technologies. Ruston has a Business degree from Texas Tech University.

Jane Levikow, Philanthropy

Jane Levikow is a leader in the social sector and regarded as an expert in nonprofit management, leading Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ Sponsor Projects Division. Past Senior VP at Tides Foundation, she was also Founding Chair of the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors. Jane has a BA from USF and a MA from Boston College.

Chad Rea, Brand marketing

Working with some of the hottest creative agencies in the world, in addition to the one he founded, Chad has helped create influence, demand, social currency and profitability for over 160 brands, including Nike, Google, Starbucks, MTV, and Target. He also teaches advertising creativity at the University of Texas, the country’s #1 Advertising and Interactive Advertising Program. He earned his BA from Texas Tech University.
